3 out of 5 stars fun game but awful graphics   May 6, 2007

The game is fun, easy to play the main menu, the options, the types of matches are good..almost.But the graphics...oh men are bad really bad, when you are choosing the superstars they look great, but when you start playing they look bad, they did't look like the real people, sometimes there are white points on the superstar. And oh my god there almost no crowd,in the crowd area there are no people when you enter of cours, and there is no announce table,i will like to hear the commentators when you are fighting not only at the beggining when it is the entrance,i will like that they where bigger ladders, more weapons and that appear all the weapons of the crowd area under the ring or use it outside the crowd area, the season mode is very bad from smackdown to raw from raw to smackdown and so on. And when you create a superstar you can't take out a layer and there are very few layers, when you put your superstar heigth 7,2,when you start playing batista is like you,i will like that there can be more move set,all the superstars and legends of 07 on 08 but more MUCH MORE,improved the stamina system, more types of matches.I HOPE SMACKDOWN VS RAW 2008 WILL IMPROVED...BUT REALLY REALLY IMPROVED.

5 out of 5 stars Great!   April 17, 2007

This game is great but not awesome, here's why:

Cons:
no announce table(PS2 and Xbox 360 have announce table),
little crowd(PS2 and Xbox 360 have full crowd),
characters look very un-detailed(PS2 and Xbox 360 look like real people).

Pros:
good gameplay,
easy to play,
kinda fun(until you lose),
loading time isn't that slow like 2006,
and fun,

This game is great but hopefully 2008 will have a full crowd, announce table, and better looking people.

4 out of 5 stars OK but gets boring after a while.   April 16, 2007

The Game is ok but will quickly get boring, bellow I will list pros cons and suggestions for improvements.

Pros
Good Menus
Loading time has improved a lot over last year
Gameplay is just like ps2 version
Better GM mode
Many Matches

Cons
The graphics in game are bad, they should cut down on the amazing, ps2 identical graphics in menus and use that memory in the game so the menus have bad graphics but the game has good ones.
Season mode is crap full stop. Come on how the developers can even consider some story lines for certain superstars is amazing, its just a lazy effort, preety much all the superstars have the same story line! Kane is a cowardly idiot chasing after divas, enough said I think
There are many gimmick matches but the gameplay really needs improving in them
No announce tables
No commantary
Great Kahli is a ultra hevyweight (if theres such thing!) and Big Shows a super hevyweight even that he weighs nearly 100 lbs more. Just Kahli is 20 foot somthin dosnt mean he weighs as mutch as a pick up truck!
We have seen the same animations for years
Yourself and opponents get injured to easy and quick it was 2mins in the match and my opponent had a red body on legend difficulty!

For 2008 they should increase the memory on UMDs its amazing how memory stick duos can hold 8gb and memory stick micro is now going to have 4gb developed and then you have a UMD 5times larger and can only hold up to 1.8gbs of memory!
The stamina system must be improved, I dont want to hold select after 3 moves, the system should be redone
Also sumbitons should be alowed on aslong as you want and your opponent/yourself should be able to fight out.
Also gimmick matches should get a bit more realistic

3 out of 5 stars eh.   April 13, 2007

This Game is overall OK. however, I feel as if it is almost an incomplete game. There's no announcing, limited CAW( you can only add 6 layers), and the move set is very old. Also, the graphics are just as bad in action as SvR 2006. The Roster is a little dated, as in there's no one from the new ECW, though both King Booker and Edge were champions long after ECW was reborn. Plus, There's no Jeff Hardy OR London and Kendrick. Jeff Hardy was back about a month Before King Booker was World Champion, so why isn't he in it? Also,They should have had more Legends. I would rather have the three hogans rather than just one. and they also should have kept andre the giant. I would also like a more current roster come SvR 2008.

Some additions for Smackdown:
Kane on smackdown
M.V.P
Hornswoggle
London & Kendrick
Deuce And Domino
King Booker, Not Booker T
JBL as an Announcer
For Raw:
HHH and HBK in DX attire (assuming they stay together)
Armando Alejandro Estrada
Jonathan Coachman as a playable character
The McMahons (Vince and Shane)
John Cena In Camo
More realistic looking championship belts
Jeff Hardy
The Great Khali on RAW
Ron Simmons
Cryme Tyme
Eugene
Stone Cold
And Others:
Updated Legends such as:
Andre The Giant
Goldberg
Brock Lesnar
Hollywood Hogan
Hulk Hogan(Current Attire)
Possibly JBL
Other Changes:
All Of ECW:
The Superstars
The Arena
The Extreme
The PPV's
Also:
The 5 on 5 Survivor Series Tag Team Match
Fatal 4 Way Ladder Match
Lumberjack Match
Possibly the TLC under the WWE Rules(use the ladder to retrieve title)
The Announcer tables
updated graphics.
And So on.............
