Tims Review November 2, 2008 Timothy Cunningham (Scottdale,PA,USA) The game is a remake of the original, which I didnt know before, but it is still fun.
Awesome game! April 25, 2008 B. Flores (New York) I purchased this for my 14 yr. son, he has all the previous MediEvil games. This one is awesome, he can't put it down. The graphics are amazing and the game is challenging which is great.
Medievil madness!! March 21, 2007 David Grinsteinner Playing this game takes a person back to the old PS1 version. If you have played the PS1 version and loved it like I do, and are left wanting more, then here is your answer.(Medievil 2 doesn't count, it sucked) This game covers the old with many new twists and turns. Some levels were deleted but other new ones were added. There is a new character or two, but sadly there are a few missing. If you hope to see the maze level you will be dissapointed, but you will see a carnival with many irritating and awesome mini games. Voice overs are changed, and the new gargoyles sound Ridiculous, but not bad enough to take a star away. All in all if you like Medievil for PS1 you are gonna like this one.
awesome =) February 20, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game is great for the psp! The basics of this game are real easy to master, but combat is kinda hard due to powerful enemy attacks and poor defense. I just use cheat codes like press start and hold the R button while pressing down, up, square, triangle, triangle, circle, down, up, square, triangle. This saves you the trouble of your shield breaking. A new option should appear on the pause menu in any level; gain all weapons and immortality. This also affects your shield (only corn beasts in scarecrow field can take it away if you try to block them). Shields defend you, but can only take so much damage. Shields can be repaired for some cash... The graphics are awesome(duh!!it's the psp) fighting is more intense without any cheat codes, but I think it's more fun just to toy with them by using different weapons =P! There are many weapons which are all unlocked with the cheat code I told you about. Here are all of them if you're picky about weapon selection: one-handed weapons which can be used with a shield, wooden sword, short sword(not that short), hero's sword, club, throwing daggers, 250 daggers, battle axe, spear 30(like a javelin), lightning (magic), chicken drumstick 30; And the two handed weapons (shields can not be equipped) long sword(huge!!!!), magic sword(huge and fat), war hammer, woden's brand(sword and best melee weapon), crossbow 200 bolts(crossbow ammo), hero's crossbow 200 bolts, longbow 200 arrows, flaming long bow 100, flaming arrows(the bow is not on fire..), magic longbow, 50 magic arrows. Is that enough weapons for you?!?! Another weapon is your skeleton arm. There are three types of shields: bronze shield, silver shield, gold shield. There are a good variety of enemies. The levels are all different in there own way. Please note this game's action is partly taken away by a poor screen and problem solving in some levels. I suggest walkthroughs online such as the scarecrow field -- a retarded level that shouldn't have been put into the game!!! They have good jokes in this game, good slightly creepy music(you are a dead hero fighting zombies and other monsters) and great looking backgrounds. Overall, this is a fun game for kids around 8+ because of the problem based levels. The enemies are there merely to add some skill into the game. It's worth paying $[...]!
not the greatest game to buy August 17, 2006 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
for christmas my parents bought me this game, of coarse iwas addicted to it for about 2 weeks. But soon after it didn't get very fun. It was just the same old story, fight and kill, fight and kill. Personally, i think that you should not waste your money on this game, buy tekken, daxter, fifa, or need for speed.
