Great movie if you love FF7 July 19, 2010 Surge (Illinois) If you haven't played final fantasy seven then you might not see whats so great about this movie, but visually its still very entertaining.
Good Product July 6, 2010 John Kielar The product came in on time and the movie is great, I would have given it 5 stars if the box cover came in black like they advertised.
LOVED IT July 2, 2010 Char This... I just.. wow.
I fell in love with Sephiroth all over again, and developed a crush on Zack, Cloud, Reno.. and dammit!Rufus.
That's quite an achievement coming from me.
I have the original version, which I waited over two years for... and I'd seen it a total of 25 times in two weeks after I bought it.
Excellent Movie! June 22, 2010 J. Strickland (Georgia) I will never regret buying this epic movie! The graphics are insane and the story line just tells you what kind of company Square Enix is: An excellent company that spends several years creating intensely epic story lines that will not falter in years to come!
Better then the original DVD and UMD in everyway, shape, and form. June 9, 2010 C. Leandro If any FF game is a true legend among legends its Final Fantasy VII ... and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children was a true epic movie sequel that surpassed everything related to FF overall, that includes that sorry excuse for a FF game that is FFXIII, i compare the original movie to FFXIII because XIII is more like a Movie overall then it is a game, poor gameplay, stupid characters and a lack of fun in general, however it does have pretty graphics and nice CGI effects worthy to be called "Movie-Like" and even still the original FFVII: AC movie blows FFXIII out of the water...
But with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete with the extra footage as many others have stated, with new voices for some characters that fit better (Marlene, Denzel, Etc...) New lines added for a fair amount of characters, new actions, Reno & Rude play bigger roles this time around, so do the kids. Oh and Blu-Ray does make a big change to the original. the HD 1080p and Sound Effects are noticeable VASTLY improved over the original, to people who say Blu-ray makes little change compared to DVD are downright stupid or in denial of being biased against it.
Anyways overall Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete doesn't only blow the original DVD versions out of the water, it blows EVERYTHING else FF related out of the freakin ocean!
It also contains a few tid-bits from the PSP exclusive game Crisis Core: FFVII! as an added bonus.
So overall with all these improvements the best FF title ever made just got better. With this, maybe square enix is still worthy after all.
