This dvd was advertised as beng in like new condition. There were a couple of skips early in the movie which I could live with. However, one complete scene and most of another one is not playable at all because the dvd freezes up. Not satisfactory at all.

At first I wasn't a Will Smith fan; until I saw this movie. What was all the fuss about him. I saw this movie and I was hook',link,and sinker. He did a terrific a job. i love it. And Pursuit of Happyness just keeps you wanting more Will Smith. Now I see why Jada is so into him.

I love this movie and have watched tens of times. I already had DVD but I bought Blu-lay version because it was on sale and expected some newer features in it.
But, there were nothing new... actually it's even worse. There weren't some features which were in the DVD version like deleted scenes, different opening etc.!!
If you have DVD, that's fine to buy this as an additional collection if the price is reasonable, but if you are thinking of buying Blu-ray as only one collection, I think you should buy DVD. With a DVD player with upscale converter to 1080i or 1080P, the picture quality is not much different after all.

I love this movie. Will Smith can do it all! He proves once again that he can take any role and make a great movie out of it. I never really saw him as the romantic comedy type but it works for him. I don't think i've ever seen a bad Will Smith movie. I was a little aggravated by the way they pumped up the movie Hancock. Hancock was definately no masterpiece but it was definately funny. We need more good romantic comedies with black people. I'm tired of watching Matthew Mcconaughey make a fool out of himself. Let someone else have a chance. LOL, Hitch is a very funny movie that anyone should be able to enjoy. I give it 2 HUGE THUMBS UP. You better buy this one. HOLLA!
