Good game, Slow loading, Bad graphics January 10, 2007 Eric Marshott (Berkeley Heights, NJ) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game is NOT meant to be played on the Sony PSP. There is NO doubt that this game should truly be played on a regular home console like the Xbox. Unless you really like to play games while you are out of the house, or if you REALLY like the tiger woods PGA series games, DON'T BUY THIS TITLE.
For kids or not? November 9, 2005 Aaron L. Shaw (Provo, UT USA) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you love golf, you can't go wrong with this title. Very realistic golf. Very beautiful golf. Did I mention this is a golf game? Unfortunately I do not like golf. However, at least I can recognize a decent game. This is truly a decent game. Not great, but not terrible.
Bottom line: Is it fun? yes, if you love golf. Will I keep it? Nope. YOu have to love golf to do that. Is it for kids? Nope. Too slow, and too many controls.
Nice game September 21, 2005 Sergey Batyrshin (Rockville, MD) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Well, Tiger is a great game. Nice graphics, commentary, gamepalay is not bad, the only thing I didn't like was the fact that to make a swing you have to use the joystick, and it is rather difficult (to do it just right) with the joystick being so small on the PSP. So I guess it's more on SONY than on EA Sports. Great game overall

the PGA Tour mode, where you play in different events in a career type game. i cannot believe they didn't put that mode in the PSP version of the game. totally ruined it...

This game is quite awesome. It is the second title that I got for the PSP and I just can't stop playing it. I've never played the Tiger Wood games before so I'm just thrilled to death about all the customization options. It's really fun, and it is challenging so that you want to play more and more to improve your personal golfer. All that aside, the load times SUCK. If you wait too long on the title screen, it goes to a loading screen for about two minutes and then starts playing a demo movie. When you hit a button, it goes to another loading screen and then takes you back to the title screen. There is also a lot of time in between each hole. The game is phenomenal if you can stand the loading times. It's a five star game that loses a star because of loading...
