My daughter is thrilled July 17, 2010

My daughter is a little beyond the Hannah Montana stage now but only by a couple years.She is an enthusiastic gamer and we are a multi-console household. For her birthday this year I offered her a choice of a few presents or a PSP 3000. After looking at the ones available here, I asked her "Purple or black?" She chose purple.
It's only a bit more than the basic PSP 3000 core pack, but comes with a few extras so you can use it straight out of the box instead of waiting to buy a game. My teen was more enthused with the Hannah Montana game than I thought she would be.
The display is just gorgeous. Both my teens have DS systems, but this is the first PSP I've really gotten a look at. The size of the display is good for her and the size of the whole unit fits easily in the bag she uses as a purse.
The color of the unit is very pretty dark lavender or pale purple. There are no HM logos on it, it comes with stickers to customize it, which my daughter discarded quickly. She customizes most of her own things with stickers for local businesses she really likes. It doesn't show finger prints badly.
Ease of use- My whole family is left handed which has been a problem with the DS a few times.This is, according to my daughter, a lot easier to use.
It took her more time to get it out of the packing box than it did to get it set up and use it. Like I said, it's her first PSP but she had it up and running in nothing flat. Played it until she went to bed, woke up, brushed her teeth, and took it off the charger to play some more. The controls are responsive and easy to use. I love the fact it comes with a headphone jack so I don't have to hear Hannah Montana songs while she's playing the included game, but it also has a speaker that has decent sound for this sort of unit.
The pack comes with: A HM game, a UMD with a few HM episodes, memory stick, power cord/adapter.
To put things on the memory stick, you'll need a mini-usb cable. The instructions are clear and easy to understand.
It's a good deal, and she's very happy with it.

it comes with 2 tv shows - my sister was able to enjoy that very much
the game is on the ignorant side - i was not too pleased with that - i was hoping for a challenge for an 8 year old.
it does come with 2gb memory card!! ultimate favorite thing of mine lol so goodluck in making your decision :] !!

This PSP is fun and easy to use. It feels nice in your hands and is really light weight. The only problem I have with it is a that it doesn't hold a charge very well, but it still does a pretty good job.

I finally bought this for my daughter's 7th birthday PSP 3000 Limited Edition Hannah Montana Entertainment Pack, after she has been asking for one since she was 5 yrs old and she is loving it. It also helps if your girl and I hope you would buy this color only for your girl, loves Hannah Montana also. This limited edition comes with great useful accessories like the memory stick which every PSP needs, colorful decorative stickers and they even through in a UMD video with three Hannah Montana episodes. What a great value for this package, so if your girl loves Hannah Montana and wants a PSP this would definitely be a great choice.

If your a girl like my little one is you'll love it. Just make sure she is over the age of six since Sony has done such a poor job of making games for girls and children under 6ish. That's all I can say bad about it. It is truly an awesome piece of tech! I use it even though it's "purple." Just wish you could change out every piece but the back of it is fully colored in and out. Sorry one other thing about this model I did not like. But I tend to be extreme on my views of things. Let's see.. great battery life, awesome game play and buttons, plays movies flawless... oh and speakers could be a little better. That's about it!
